Looking for a potential candidate to work as 'Accounts clerk' at our office situated at Bell Village.
MAIN DUTIES
• Processing day to day Accounting transaction
• Reporting to the accountant, the selected candidate will provide support on the finance team in day-to-day activities.
• Assisting accounting staff as and when required
• Cashbook & Bank Reconciliation
• Follow up on accounts payable & receivable
• VAT & Corporate tax returns
• MRA returns: CSG, PAYE & PRGF
• Managing daily petty cash account
• Dealing with external Auditors
• Comply with all local, state, accounting and financial regulations.
• Keeping informed about current legislation relating to finance and accounting.
• Maintaining accurate financial records.
• Performing audits and resolving discrepancies.
• Assisting management in the decision-making process by preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
• Filing- Payment voucher, Import Payment & Local Purchase Order
• Any cognate duties as per the requirement of the position
OTHER SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
- HSC holder & ACCA Qualified or any other equivalent qualifications
- 1-2 Years experience in the same field
- Proficiency in Navision
- Analytical ability
