ACCOUNTS AND ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER

We are specialised in the sales of spares parts for heavy machinery and sale of equipments such as trucks, tractors etc. We are based in Riche Terre and are looking for a motivated Accounts and Administrative Officer.

1.  Administrative Tasks

• Office Management
• Assist the director in the day-to-day operation of the company
• Prepare pre-costings and final costings
• Request quotations from shipping companies whenever required and keep track of shipments
• Responsible for customs clearance of shipments

       2.  ACCOUNTING TASKS

• Data Entry for Accounting purposes
• Assist the Accountant in the preparation of monthly VAT, Management Accounts and Financial Statements or any other ad hoc tasks
• Prepare and send weekly reports (sales, fuel, mileage) to the different departments of the company
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Petty cash Management
• Prepare invoices and ensure that they are sent to the clients in a timely manner
• Laise with auditors, MRA or any other regulatory bodies whenever required

QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least two years in a similar position
• ACCA level 1 or equivalent
• Fluent in French and English
• Ability to multitask and to prioritise work effectively
• Ability to work independently
