Role Overview The AC Technician is responsible for the installation, preventive maintenance, and repair of air-conditioning and ventilation systems in guest rooms and hotel facilities
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of air-conditioning and ventilation systems.
Troubleshoot and repair split units, VRV/VRF systems, AHUs, and FCUs.
Monitor AC performance to ensure temperature and humidity levels meet hotel standards.
Respond promptly to guest complaints related to air-conditioning during assigned shifts.
Detect, report, and rectify faults, gas leaks, and system inefficiencies.
Ensure all air-conditioning works comply with safety, health, and quality standards.
Maintain accurate records of AC maintenance, repairs, and servicing.
Assist in planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules.
Support emergency breakdowns and urgent technical issues.
Maintain tools, equipment, and refrigerant handling practices in line with safety regulations.
Coordinate with other engineering team members to minimize guest disturbance.
Follow energy-saving and sustainability practices related to HVAC operations.
Adhere strictly to hotel policies, procedures, and professional conduct standards.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Chief Engineer.
Technical qualification or certification in Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning is preferred.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for air-conditioning systems.
Ability to work independently and efficiently during shift duties.
Good knowledge of hotel engineering operations and safety practices.
