Assist and support the administration of the day-to-day operations of the human resources functions and duties within Island Living.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist Line Managers in planning their manpower requirements.
  • Coordinate the recruitment and selection process as per manpower planning requirements and ensure adherence to internal processes.
  • Maintain employment records for payroll and administrative purposes.
  • Provide support to Line Managers in managing employee relations by ensuring adherence to grievance and disciplinary procedures.
  • Assist in the identification of employee training & development needs.
  • Coordinate the employee welfare activities.
Qualifications, Profiles & Experiences:
  • Diploma in Human Resource Management or any related field.
  • Past experience in the Human Resources department of an organization, in any comparable position, is an advantage.
  • Team player and proactive.
  • Good interpersonal skills and able to operate with the highest levels of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Holder of a valid driving licence.
  • Living in the Black River/Savanne/Plaines Wilhems region will constitute an advantage.
