Our client: Our client is currently looking to recruit an Accountant to work in its company in Mauritius.

Your Role & Responsibilities:

• To prepare Management Account and financial statements
• To prepare and examine financial records
• To prepare the company’s monthly and yearly accounts
•  To prepare and present reports to management
• To analyse the revenue and expenditure of the company and prepare cash flow statement
• To consolidate accounts
• To handle all the accounts concerning the purchase in different countries
• To deal with money/finance, invoices, receipts, payments for various countries
• To make sure that records are accurate and that taxes are paid properly and on time
• To conduct any other cognate duties

Your profile:

• At least a degree in Accounting or Qualifications (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or equivalent;
• A minimum of 3 years of working experience in the Accounting department;
• Proven experience as a junior accountant
•  Junior profile can be considered as training will be provided
• Experienced or knowledgeable about commodity trading or international trading
• Working experience in GBC 1 company
• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
• Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
