Our client, in the offshore sector, is looking for an International Accounting Manager.

Reporting to the Partners, you will manage a portfolio of clients and lead the accounting team.

Main responsibilities:

• Handle multiple projects and lead the accounting team to perform daily accounting tasks.
• Review monthly management reports.
• Ensure the timely and accurate production of management accounts and variance analysis.
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles.
• Manage and oversee the account payables and payment process within agreed timetable with clients.
• Act as the point of contact for the clients
• Lead and grow team members

Qualifications

• ACCA / ACA qualified;
• At least 8 years of Accounting and/or Audit experience;
• Experience in leading a team;
• Good knowledge of International Accounting Standards and UK GAAP.

• Comprehensive understanding of finance and accounting processes;
• Excellent leadership and supervisory skills;
• Proven ability of expressing technical and complex issues, both in writing and orally;
• Flexible and able to work across several different time zones in order to meet client demands;
• Proactive, independent and able to work under pressure;
• Ability to manage within budgetary and time constraints while providing a high-level of client satisfaction;
• Anticipating and addressing client concerns and escalating problems as they arise;
• Demonstrate a positive, confident and decisive attitude in communicating with staff, clients and Partners.
