Cim Finance is recruiting an Senior Corporate Credit Analyst. If you have experience in Credit/risk within the banking/Financial environment and have a mastery of financial analysis and accounting concepts, then apply today.
To support the sales team in the daily credit application processing & follow-up. To mitigate risk of lending to customers by providing a critical analysis of customers credit applications so as to make informed business decisions. To support management in the leadership and development of the team as well as providing relevant reports to upper management as and when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse and prepare credit applications,
- Preparation and distribution of credit analysis report to the relevant approvals.
- Prepare a summary of the security analysis
- Continuous learning about risk and compliance management, including ethics, legal and regulatory framework, industry best practices and global standards;
- Up-to-date knowledge of laws & regulations likely to impact the business and customers;
- Continuous monitoring of market and economic conditions that are likely to impact the business and customers;
- Timely underwriting analysis and recommendations that consolidates the competitiveness of the company;
- Early detection and reporting of issues likely to affect client repayments;
- Reports on opportunities and customer segments to be targeted;
- Lead and contribute to put in place the departmental (or wider scope) organisational policies and procedures (SOPs).
- Retain a 360 degree view of application and where it is in the process
- Effective communication in coordination with relevant internal stakeholders in order to assess credit-worthiness of applicants
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics or other business-related subject with mastery of financial and market analysis
- Fluency in English and French (both written & spoken)
- Mastery of MS Excel, including pivots, macros and formulas
- Mastery of financial analysis and accounting concepts
- Thorough understanding of economic, market/commercial and legal environment
- Understanding of credit vetting processes
- Experience in analysis of security documentation & other legal documentation.
- Reporting skills (documents & presentations)
- Knowledge of Cim Finance products – more specifically experience of analysis looking at multiple products per client.
- At least 5years in a banking environment with a minimum of 3years working in a credit/risk role.
