Assist foreign audit teams with data analytics solutions to support and perform audit testing while providing leadership to a team of juniors.

Responsibilities:

• Support audit teams with financial data extraction and compilation from financial systems
• Effectively manage client relationships
• Oversee junior staff performing data loads into data analytics solutions, and perform reviews and quality checks after data has been loaded
• Assist in the cleansing and correcting of data when required
• Ensure that audit teams and management are informed of progress and/or issues noted
• Assist the Corporate Finance department in compiling data to produce structured datapacks for due diligence purposes
• Assist other departments (Assurance, Accounts preparation, Bookkeeping) within BDO Solutions as and when required
• Mentor and coach Junior Associates

Experience

• At least 3 years' experience in Accounting/Bookkeeping/Audit/Finance
• Experience in managing people
• Understanding of financial accounting systems and concepts and data extraction methods. Experience of working with data will be an advantage

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting/Finance or fully ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified
• HSC with good grades in Mathematics at principal level
