We are looking for a Cook with a minimum of 3 years of experience to work for a restaurant situated in the South Southwest Region of the Island. Working hours are as follows: Summertime: 8:45 am - 5:45 pm Wintertime: 8:00 - 5:30 pm

 

Responsibiltities:

1. Ensure proper set up of kitchen with all required cooking ingredients and equipment

2. Prepare cooking ingredients (prep works)

3. Cook food and ensure good food presentation before serving

4. Monitor food supplies & orders and perform regular stock inventory

4. Ensure that kitchen is maintained clean and orderly

5. Maintain good hygiene practices and follow health & safety procedures

6. Lead a team of kitchen staff

7. Perform other kitchen duties as assigned

 

Candidate Profile:

1. Experience as Cook

2. Knowledge of food preparation and presentation

3. Ability to work under pressure

4. Working knowledge of kitchen equipment such as wooden oven for pizza

5. Good physical conditions

6. Having a sense of Responsibility, Integrity, Humility and Team Spirit

7. Certificate in Food and Beverage Services or similar area
