A well established catering business is looking for a Cost Controller to join its team.
Main Duties:
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the job incumbent shall primarily be responsible to:
- review the purchase requisition of the kitchen on a daily basis to monitor cost and usage
- work with the Kitchen and F&B departments to find better ingredients / alternative products to improve operations
- prepare and analyse food and beverage costs on a daily basis and recommend alternatives to benefit the Company
- assist in recurring inventory count and investigate variances
- establish and maintain a database for food and beverage inventory stock including up-to-date pricing
- assist the Management in menu costing in order to establish menu item sale prices
- monitors the performance of all departments, particularty food and beverage through the efficient maintenance of control procedures
- track and report functional metrics to reduce expenses, wastage and improve effectiveness
- prepare reports as requested by Supervisor
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of ACCA Level 1
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as Cost Controller
Skills & Competencies:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong financial analysis skills, analytical skills and critical thinking
- Good time management for meeting deadlines
- Competency in MS Office
