Job Purpose

We are looking for enthusiastic Wine Specialists to provide advice and assistance to our customers & to maximize sales and customer satisfaction in our outlets (TheWinestore).

An excellent Wine Specialist must be energetic and outgoing with excellent interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will be able to acquire knowledge of the company’s products and pass that knowledge to customers along with a great deal of enthusiasm.

The goal is to facilitate sales in every possible way in order to drive sustainable growth.

Main responsibilities

• Welcome TheWinestore clientele, identify their needs and provide recommendations
• Advise clientele on Wine & Spirits products, food pairing and carry out sales
• Initiate customers to the art of wine tasting and develop their curiosity about our full range of products
• Assist and participate actively in the organisation of events related to wine and spirits (events may be held on premise as well as off site, during evenings & week ends)
• Perform various administrative duties related to invoicing, balancing of cash till at close of business, input of information in the computer system, maintaining of customer database among others
• Attain the sales targets through proactive sales

Requirements

• Knowledge in Wine & Spirits would be a definite advantage
• Minimum HSC or a certified course in Hospitality Management
• Experience in Sales
• Excellent bilingual communication skills
• Willing to work flexible hours & weekends
• Residing preferably within the Plaine Wilhems & Northern region
