This is an opportunity to join an organisation with an entrepreneurial and agile business environment. Our Client, has years of experience in the production and distribution of building/ construction materials.

 

Main Duties:

  • Collaborate with the Commercial Director in the elaboration of the marketing strategy
  • Manage & implement the marketing plan
  • Develop strategic relationships with key partners, clients & suppliers
  • Manage the marketing expenditure including advertising, merchandising, promotions, etc.
  • Create & develop promotional materials to support commercial events & sales calls
  • Manage communication/ advertising campaigns including monitoring of social media pages & targeted advertising channels, e.g. newspapers & specialised magazines
  • Organise roadshows & participations in forums
  • Conduct market research analysis; evaluation of trends, sales opportunities, brand-awareness & competition
  • Provide input in the pricing & development of new products, based on market intelligence
  • Monitor and organise showroom activities; manage on-site literature, product samples & coach indoor sales staff to optimise revenue

 

Qualifications/Experience:

  • HSC / BAC with a degree in sales & marketing or any other equivalent qualification
  • Minimum of 3 years’ of experience in a similar position

 

Ideal Profile:

  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Natural relationship builder; networking skills
  • Ambitious, energetic & well-presented
  • Confident with a high level of personal resilience & grit
  • Commercial experience gained in the building material sector is an advantage
  • Possess a clean driving license
