Finance Manager

Adecco is an International HR and Consultancy firm. Our client, in the offshore and telecommunication sector, is looking for a Finance Manager.

Our client, in the offshore and telecommunication sector, is looking for a Finance Manager.

The successful candidate will manage the preparation and review of month end accounts, sub consolidation and consolidations, month end reports, reviewing forecast and budget and statutory reporting and year- end audit.

Main responsibilities:

• Detailed reviews/preparation of the monthly accounts for the entities under New Business which are prepared in Mauritius office.
• Review and approve HFM Packs.
• Preparation of sub consolidation and consolidations prepared in Mauritius office.
• Balance sheet reconciliation.
• Liaise with Project owners weekly/monthly.
• Assist with the preparation of forecast and budget for the entities with project owners for final review by CFOS and Group CFO/Head of Finance.
• Advise/Manage the treasury function.
• Ensure cost incurred are within budget.
• Build and maintain contacts with Management Company and third parties for corporate matters.
• Overall responsibility for ensuring that all reporting deadlines are met in a timely manner.
• Supervise and provide assistance to Accountants and Assistants.

Qualification:

• Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Fully qualified accountant with at least 3 years' post qualification experience.

Candidate profile:

• Supervisory/Managerial experience in accounting/auditing.
• Good planning, team work and organizational skills.
• Positive attitude, problem solving and autonomous.
• Deadline driven, versatile and committed.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• High level of computer literacy.
• Knowledge of Hyperion Financial Management and Hyperion Strategic Finance would be beneficial.
