Our client, in the investment sector, is looking for a qualified Internal Auditor.

Reporting to the Management and the Audit Committee, the successful candidate will be responsible for performing the full audit cycle including risk management and control over the company's operational effectiveness and financial reliability.

Main responsibilities:

• Oversee the company's and group's control system and ensure adherence.
  • Report on findings and recommend changes where appropriate.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Analyse and evaluate the accounting functions of the group.
  • Document process and prepare audit findings.
  • Liaise with external auditors.                 

Qualifications:

• Fully Qualified Accountant from a recognised body (ACA, ACCA)
• Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures                                                 

Candidate profile:       

• At least 3 years proven experience as Internal Auditor
• Advanced computer skills on MS office, accounting softwares
• Ability to handle and compile detailed reports and data   
• Highly motivated, proactive and dynamic person
• Self-starter, willing to take responsibilities and able to work under pressure
• Outgoing personality with excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Good team spirit                      
• Organised and committed in meeting deadlines
• Having an eye for detail and strong analytical skills
• Sound independent judgement
