Responsible of boat lifting and launching, yard and equipment maintenance, boat repairs, team supervision & monitoring.

Responsibilities

Boatyard

• To organise work planning 
• To supervise the boatyard team 
• To ensure proper maintenance of yard facilities: equipment, housekeeping among others
• To make sure that daily checklist is dully filled and necessary actions are taken 
• To ensure a safe working environment for any third party
• To maintain good relationship with employees, clients and subcontractors

Repairs

• To survey vessels upon arrival or on-site inspection
• To prepare quotations and follow up accordingly 
• To plan repairs work and ensure availability of consumables and materials
• To closely monitor costs on jobs and respect deadlines

Qualifications/Work experience

• Minimum qualification HSC or equivalent
• 3 years experience
• Knowledge in boating environment would be an advantage

Skills

• Be customer focused
• Excellent organisation and planning skills
• Fluent in French & English (verbal & written)
• Computer literate: advanced knowledge of microsoft tools
• Valid driving licence: car, tractor, forklift
