Role Definition:
• To lead the team by providing general, financial and treasury management and experience to
contribute to the profitable development and financial results of the group.

Key Responsibilities:
• To monitor and manage all treasury related activities including:
• Preparation of cash flow forecasts.
• Ensuring business funds are invested in accordance with the investment mandate.
• Continuous investigation and reporting of investment opportunities that will yield
maximum return and affect thereof on SCR in accordance with Mauritian legislation.
• Maintaining all cash and investment related documents.
• Preparation of cash and investment analysis (including related commentary).
• Preparation of monthly and annual cash and investment reports.
• To complete required projects as assigned by management.
• To create and compile reports for both financial and operational performance of the business.
• To participate in strategic projects throughout the group where input is required.
•  To oversee compliance with statutory regulations and submit regulatory returns including:
• All reporting required by Mauritian and/or South African Regulators.
• Valuations and solvency calculations as necessary.
• To keep abreast of market/regulatory opportunities and risks regarding products, service
providers and legislation and international best practices

Qualifications and Experience
• Qualified Chartered Accountant.
• At least 5 years of experience at managerial level in the Financial/Insurance sector.
• Previous experience in a similar position and/or in a work related field.

Other Requisites
• Knowledge of relevant Mauritian investment opportunities and regulatory frameworks.
• Understanding of PCC/cell captive business arrangements.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Fluent in English and French (oral and written).
