Responsibilities:
• Promote the hotel and provide information to prospective guests, capture sales from incoming calls /email and coordinate details of each reservation
• Act as the single point of contact for all aspects of the reservation process and special requests.
- Maintaining booking and billing accuracy
- Performing database entry, corporate client creation, and reporting.
- Providing support to front office team and commitment to teamwork
- Contributing to the financial and Revenue strategy,
- Being comfortable upselling and maximizing revenue,
- Providing administrative support to the Sales, Marketing and Revenue team
- Excellent approach to customer service
- Being well organized, deadline driven, and can handle the pressure of the clock.
- Presenting a positive attitude
Desired Profile
- HSC or equivalent
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
- College course work in related field helpful
- Dazzling telephone and communication skills
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.
- Strong computer skills necessary. IT literacy, with experience of packages such as Excel, Fidelio, MS Word, Knowledge of Opera
- Must be flexible and able to work in a fast paced environment
- Impressive time management and organisational skills
- Candidate must have attention to detail, be able to multi-task, must have experience handling customer service issues and be a team player
