The Quality Assurance Officer will be responsible for ensuring the consistent implementation and maintenance of the ISO 45001 Management System within the Medine Ltd and its subsidiaries.
The Quality Assurance Officer will be responsible for ensuring the consistent implementation and maintenance of the ISO 45001 Management System within the Medine Ltd and its subsidiaries. The officer is responsible for monitoring compliance, enhancing process efficiency, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and fostering a culture of quality across all operations — including guest services, animal welfare, facility maintenance, and safety procedures and or any other related sub department. Help any other BU request on SOP guidelines & writing.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Compliance & Standards Management
- Ensure operations comply with ISO 45001 requirements, applicable regulations, and internal programs.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure all departments meet ISO objectives and align with park and Business Unit standards.
2. Monitoring & Performance Management
- Monitor and report on the performance of operational processes, procedures, and work instructions across all departments.
- Analyze process data to identify trends and implement improvement plans to enhance guest experience and operational efficiency.
3. Audit & Inspection Management
- Develop and maintain internal audit tools.
- Conduct audits and prepare detailed reports with practical recommendations.
4. Process Improvement & Operational Excellence
- Support departments in planning and implementing quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist in enhancing operational efficiency through structured improvement plans.
5. Policy & Documentation Management
- Assist in the creation and revision of policies, SOPs, and quality objectives tailored to leisure park operations and other Business Units.
- Maintain documentation related to the Safety Management System and support alignment with ISO frameworks.
6. Training & Awareness
- Deliver training on management principles, risk-based thinking, and ISO 45001 awareness to staff at all levels.
7. Safety Culture & Engagement
- Champion a park-wide safety culture by promoting awareness and engagement among employees and leadership.
8. Others
- Any other cognate duties as may be necessary in the circumstances and/or required by the employer.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Business Administration or a related field.
- Certified ISO 45001 Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor with proven audit experience, would be an advantage.
- Minimum of 2 -3years’ experience in a quality assurance role, preferably within hospitality, tourism, or leisure sectors.

- Strong knowledge of quality tools, continuous improvement methodologies, and risk management.
- Familiarity with applicable health, safety, and regulatory standards in a leisure or attraction setting.
