Hapag-Lloyd offers a fleet with a total capacity of 2.1 Million TEU, as well as a container stock of approximately 2.6 million TEU including one of the world’s largest and most modern reefer container fleets. This open position shall be on a permanent contract basis. 

 

 Qualifications and Technical Job Requirements 

  • 2–5 years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related roles.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, dynamic dashboards, and complex formulas.
  • Experience with BI and reporting tools such as Qlik Sense, Power BI, Tableau, or internal reporting platforms.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and provide actionable insights.

Job Responsibilities

  • Gather, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions.
  • Develop, automate, and maintain Excel-based reports, dashboards, and advanced tracking tools for operational and leadership use.
  • Validate and reconcile data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability across multiple sources.
  • Prepare detailed periodic business performance reports (daily, weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc) for leadership review.
  • Support management with advanced, data-driven analysis to guide critical decision-making.
  • Translate complex business problems into structured analyses, leveraging data to perform root cause analysis and scenario modelling.
  • Design compelling visualizations, summaries, and presentations that communicate insights clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data, understand business processes, and ensure analytical solutions meet organizational needs.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), benchmark performance, and proactively identify trends or gaps.
  • Provide actionable recommendations based on insights, supporting continuous process improvement and operational excellence.
  • Identify opportunities to automate reporting and streamline data processes, driving efficiency across the team.
