Rey & Lenferna Ltd is looking for a Product Engineer to deliver product demonstration, attract prospective clients and maintain a strong relationship with existing clients for our MEP Supplies Department.
Role & Responsibilities
- Present, promote and sell products using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.
- Assist in project implementation and attend site meetings whenever required.
- Assist sales team in delivery of proposals and presentations where necessary to close strategic deals.
- Assist in preparation, follow-up and submission of tenders or quotations.
- Keep up to date with market trends and new technologies.
- Ensure that a long-term business partnership is built-up with our customers whereby their needs and requirements are understood.
- Monitor closely credit facilities and debt collection.
- Any other cognate duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department.
Qualifications & Experience
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering preferably in Mechatronics or Mechanical.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role together with experience in sales.
Knowledge, Skills & Attitude
- Product knowledge in solution selling to meet clients’ expectations.
- Upselling and cross-selling: ability to identify opportunities for expansion revenue and stay on top of any changes or new opportunities.
- Good verbal and written communication in both English and French.
- Ability to build network to leverage good customer relationships.
- Professionalism and outgoing personality.
- Critical thinking skills and negotiating powers.
- Valid driving licence for private car.
