Job Profile

Rey & Lenferna Ltd is looking for a Product Engineer to deliver product demonstration, attract prospective clients and maintain a strong relationship with existing clients for our MEP Supplies Department.

Role & Responsibilities

• Present, promote and sell products using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.
• Assist in project implementation and attend site meetings whenever required.
• Assist sales team in delivery of proposals and presentations where necessary to close strategic deals.
• Assist in preparation, follow-up and submission of tenders or quotations.
• Keep up to date with market trends and new technologies.
• Ensure that a long-term business partnership is built-up with our customers whereby their needs and requirements are understood.
• Monitor closely credit facilities and debt collection.
• Any other cognate duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department.

Qualifications & Experience

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering preferably in Mechatronics or Mechanical.
• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role together with experience in sales.

Knowledge, Skills & Attitude

• Product knowledge in solution selling to meet clients’ expectations.
• Upselling and cross-selling: ability to identify opportunities for expansion revenue and stay on top of any changes or new opportunities. 
• Good verbal and written communication in both English and French.
• Ability to build network to leverage good customer relationships.
• Professionalism and outgoing personality.
• Critical thinking skills and negotiating powers.
• Valid driving licence for private car.
