Archemics Ltd, a leading distributor of international brands, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented SHEQ Officer to strengthen its Quality and Sustainability team.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all company products comply with applicable local and international regulations and industry standards
- Monitor and maintain quality management systems in line with internal procedures
- Prepare, review, and maintain regulatory documentation, SOPs, and records
- Coordinate product registrations, renewals, certifications, and approvals with authorities
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and assess their impact on products
- Conduct internal audits and support external audits and inspections
- Investigate non-conformities, customer complaints, and quality issues; implement CAPA
- Collaborate with Production, Lab, R&D, Procurement, and Sales teams to ensure compliance
- Conduct SHEQ trainings, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions
- Ensure proper document control and record-keeping systems
- Support Health & Safety activities, including trainings, inspections, and drills
- Raise purchase requests for safety equipment and supplies
- Drive continuous improvement in SHEQ processes and performance
Profile of the Ideal Candidate
- Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Quality Assurance, or related field.
- Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in regulatory affairs, product compliance, or quality coordination, preferably in a manufacturing, cosmetics, or chemical industry.
- Good knowledge of ISO standards and regulatory requirements
- Good communication and training abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
