We are seeking a dynamic and highly responsible Assistant Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our first flagship Bargello & Irya Home store at Victoria Urban Terminal.
This role is designed for a hands-on retail leader who combines operational excellence, sales
leadership, stakeholder management, and brand ownership mindset. The Assistant Store
Manager will act as the backbone of the store, ensuring smooth operations, strong sales
performance, and full alignment with brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
Store Operations & Leadership
Manage and oversee daily store operations in full alignment with shopping mall regulations and brand standards
Act as the primary operational contact for investors, mall management, banks, and external stakeholders
Prepare and manage staff shift schedules and daily manpower planning
Supervise and lead Sales Attendants, ensuring discipline, motivation, and performance consistency
Proactively identify staffing risks and ensure backup personnel planning when needed
Step in operationally and lead from the front during staff shortages or peak hours Sales Performance & Floor Management
Actively participate in face-to-face sales while maintaining overall floor supervision
Drive store sales performance through proactive customer engagement and promotion activities
Monitor and follow up on sales targets, KPIs, and conversion metrics
Encourage cross-selling and up-selling, particularly across Bargello fragrances and Irya Home bath collections (towels, bathrobes, slippers)
Lead by example to build a high-performance sales culture Cash, Reporting & Inventory Control
Ensure accurate daily cash handling, reconciliation, and closing procedures
Prepare and submit daily sales and turnover reports
Conduct regular stock counts and oversee inventory accuracy
Monitor stock levels and coordinate reordering and replenishment
Identify and minimize stock loss, discrepancies, or operational risks
Brand Standards & Visual Excellence
Ensure full compliance with Bargello & Irya Home brand guidelines, including:
Product display and merchandising standards
Visual presentation and store layout
Hygiene and cleanliness
Window display and in-store aesthetics
Maintain the store as a premium brand environment at all times
Marketing & 360° Brand Promotion
Support social media administration and local content coordination
Participate in influencer marketing and local promotional initiatives
Contribute to 360° marketing efforts by transforming the store into a live brand experience
Coordinate with management on local visibility and brand activation activities
Candidate Profile & Requirements
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in retail operations, preferably in lifestyle, fragrance, home textiles, or premium consumer goods
Strong leadership and people management skills
Proven ability to manage operations, sales targets, and reporting simultaneously
Fluent French (excellent command)
Very good command of English
Strong organizational skills and high sense of responsibility
Hands-on, solution-oriented, and proactive mindset
Comfortable working in a fast-paced shopping mall environment
Qualification : HSC (Higher School Certificate)
