Welder

The Welder will be responsible for assembling, fabricating, and repairing metal structures and equipment using various welding techniques while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols

• Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, and cleaning metal surfaces prior to welding

• Perform welding operations using appropriate techniques (MIG, TIG, Arc, etc.) based on job requirements

• Ensure accurate alignment, positioning, and assembly of metal components

• Inspect finished welds to ensure they meet quality, strength, and safety standards

• Identify and repair defects in welded structures and components

• Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools in safe working condition

• Follow all health and safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE

• Measure and verify dimensions to ensure precision and compliance with specifications

• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to complete tasks within deadlines

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

• Report any equipment faults, safety hazards, or material issues to the supervisor
