Candidate Profile
BOG is currently looking for a Site Supervisor to support its property development pipeline.
The candidate will be the primary point of contact on-site, responsible for orchestrating trades, enforcing quality standards, and ensuring BOG’s vision is realized on time and on budget.
Minimum working experience in the field of construction of 4 years from requiring to be comfortable with the intricacies of working in a start-up environment and needs to have an engineering background.
Core Competencies
- Degree or diploma in engineering (ideally structural engineering) or architecture
- Minimum 4 years of working experience in the construction industry, ideally with a contracting background
Soft Skills
- Courteous and respectful with an upkeep of a professional appearance required
- Assertiveness and ability to lead with authority and respect
- Excellent attention to detail with "no-compromise" attitude toward safety and finishing
Role Description
Job Modalities
- Candidate should have a valid driving license for movement for ad-hoc, on-site duties and liaison with consultants, regulatory authorities and clients
- Candidate will need to have on-site presence during construction period from grey works to final fitouts of residential and retail units
Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily flow of trades to ensure minimal downtime
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe site
- Conduct rigorous quality checks at every stage, from slab pour to final polish
- Organize and lead on-site meetings
- Maintain precise daily logs, variation orders, and photographic progress reports
- Design and coordination of building plans with appointed project consultants
- Assist in pricing requests and make a qualitative price comparison of the different offers
