Finance & Strategy Associate

Join our Cards & Payments team as a Finance and Strategy Associate, where you will play a key role in shaping financial decisions across our portfolio.

In this role, you will analyse profitability, support strategic projects, model new business opportunities, and collaborate with teams across the organisation. Your insights will help drive pricing, product development, and overall business performance.

Responsibility

• Build and maintain strong financial models for both acquiring and issuing teams.
• Analyse new business opportunities and provide strategic and financial insights.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for the Cards department.
• Prepare clear business presentations and conduct competitor benchmarking.
• Create and manage P&L statements for the Cards and Payments business.
• Monitor key business metrics and recommend actions to enhance performance.
• Partner with Marketing, IT, and other teams to support projects and campaigns.
• Perform other related duties within the business unit as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Strategy, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in banking, cards, or the payments industry.
• Strong ability to handle large data sets and interpret insights.
• Hands-on experience in financial modelling and advanced Excel use.
• Strong logical reasoning and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with diverse teams.
