The Broking Support Officer provides operational and administrative support to the Health Broking team. You will be responsible for accurately processing renewals, endorsements, billing transactions, and maintaining policy records.
Main duties
- Validate and update renewal lists and policy forms
- Prepare renewal/new business placements and invoices
- Follow up on pending renewals and ensure timely closure
- Maintain accurate internal KPI records
- Process additions, deletions, and policy updates
- Ensure correct documentation and accurate data entry in Oasis
- Update and maintain membership lists and policy files
- Perform monthly billing for assigned accounts
- Extract, verify, and reconcile statements and member listings
- Respond to daily membership and administrative queries
- Issue special terms letters and ensure proper filing
- Support documentation issuance (e.g., cards, policies)
- Contribute to team reporting, SLA delivery, and KPI tracking
Qualifications
- HSC or Diploma in Business Administration, Insurance, or related field
- Insurance qualifications will be an advantage
Experience
- 2–5 years’ experience in insurance administration or broking support
- Experience in health insurance preferred
- Familiarity with insurance management systems
