Culinary Development Manager (Heritage Resorts)

We are looking for a Culinary Development Manager to join our Heritage Resorts Team in Bel Ombre!

• Collaborate with ER Hospitality Academy to conduct gap analyses and identify culinary training needs.
• Design, develop and deliver culinary training programmes aligned with industry standards and certification requirements (MQA/HRDC).
• Conduct on-the-job training to enhance practical culinary skills and operational excellence.
• Mentor and coach culinary team members to support professional development and career progression.
• Develop and regularly update training materials and manuals in collaboration with People Development and Quality teams.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards through training and operational audits.
• Assess training effectiveness and team performance through evaluations, audits and reporting.
• Analyse feedback from guests and management to identify skill gaps and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or related field.
• Certification in Food Safety & Hygiene would be an advantage.
• Proven experience in culinary training, development and quality assurance within the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Excellent leadership, coaching and mentoring skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Valid driving license and own car is a must.
