PropertyCloud is seeking a Marketing & Event Manager to lead performance marketing, brand positioning and end-to-end industry events. The ideal candidate is commercially driven, comfortable owning budgets, and driving measurable growth.
Your Mission
PropertyCloud.mu is one of Mauritius’ leading online property marketplaces. We are entering our next growth phase and hiring a Marketing & Event Manager to lead performance marketing, event management, and brand positioning at scale. This is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the Managing Director where you will manage budgets, own marketing performance and event delivery end-to-end.
Your Role
Full marketing strategy and execution (quarterly & annual plans)
Event management, organization & delivery (Industry events)
Paid media (Google, Meta, retargeting, display)
PR, media partnerships and offline campaigns
Brand positioning and market authority
Team leadership (3 direct reports)
Marketing Strategy & Performance:
Protect and elevate PropertyCloud’s positioning as Mauritius’ leading portal.
Develop and execute quarterly marketing plans aligned with targets
Own marketing calendar (campaigns, launches, expos, directory, partnerships)
Coordinate cross-functionally with Sales for campaign execution
Manage budget ownership, targets and ROI optimization
Event Management
Own all event management (organising, planning, execution, marketing)
Define event objectives, value proposition and full PNL outcomes
Venue sourcing, project management, and vendor/stakeholder management
Coordinate with commercial team and ROI deliverables
PPC & Paid marketing:
Manage and direct PPC marketing specialist
Optimise campaigns based on performance metrics
Social Media:
Manage and direct Social Media Manager
Approve strategy, calendar and creative direction
Drive engagement that supports brand authority (not just reach)
Content:
Manage Content Editor (magazine, directory, blog, press content)
Ensure content drives SEO, credibility and commercial conversion
Oversee and grow PR (data insights, market reports, award entries)
Reporting:
Identify core KPIs & monitor their achievement.
Ensure all relevant reporting masterfiles are accurately managed.
5+ years experience in digital and performance marketing
Proven experience managing large-scale events
Experience managing marketing teams
Strong project management skills
Strong PPC and paid ads expertise
Commercial mindset (understands CAC, CPL, conversion)
Confident decision-maker
Digital industry or media experience is preferred.
