Maintenance Manager

The Maintenance Manager will have to oversee all installation, repair and upkeep operations of the hotel's facilities.

• Allocate workload and supervise upkeep staff
• Manage relationships with contractors and service provider
• Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary
• Monitor electrical and hydraulic systems of facilities to ensure functionality
• Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities
• Maintain maintenance logs and report on daily activities
• Ensure that designated buildings, plant and facilities are fit for purpose and to provide proactive support/solutions when required
• Ensure health and safety policies are complied with
• Prepare investment proposals, CAPEX, OPEX
• Monitor KPIs monthly for the maintenance team
• Ensure health and safety standards are in place
• Ensure compliance of gas appliance and general compliance across the hotel
• Work with all departments to ensure conformity and proper functioning of all equipment in house
• Ensure fire compliance across the hotel and its premises

Qualifications

• 5 years' experience in maintenance management role
• Degree in engineering or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems
• Ability to keep track of and report on activity
• Experience in planning maintenance operations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent leadership and management skills
• Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with staff members
• Competent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making
