The Maintenance Manager will have to oversee all installation, repair and upkeep operations of the hotel's facilities.
- Allocate workload and supervise upkeep staff
- Manage relationships with contractors and service provider
- Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary
- Monitor electrical and hydraulic systems of facilities to ensure functionality
- Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities
- Maintain maintenance logs and report on daily activities
- Ensure that designated buildings, plant and facilities are fit for purpose and to provide proactive support/solutions when required
- Ensure health and safety policies are complied with
- Prepare investment proposals, CAPEX, OPEX
- Monitor KPIs monthly for the maintenance team
- Ensure health and safety standards are in place
- Ensure compliance of gas appliance and general compliance across the hotel
- Work with all departments to ensure conformity and proper functioning of all equipment in house
- Ensure fire compliance across the hotel and its premises
Qualifications
- 5 years' experience in maintenance management role
- Degree in engineering or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems
- Ability to keep track of and report on activity
- Experience in planning maintenance operations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent leadership and management skills
- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with staff members
- Competent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making
