Team Leader - Clinical Laboratory Assistant

Supervise daily collection of blood, urine, stool, and swab samples.

What you will be doing:

• Supervise daily collection of blood, urine, stool, and swab samples.
• Ensure proper labelling, quality control, and timely dispatch of specimens.
• Perform venipuncture according to established protocols.
• Manage stock, equipment maintenance, and documentation.
• Prepare monthly staff rosters and oversee team performance.
• Mentor and train CLAs to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Maintain high standards of patient care, confidentiality, and professionalism

What are we looking for?

• Higher School Certificate (science subjects preferred); professional lab certificate desirable.
• 8+ years’ lab experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Computer literacy and knowledge of infection control policies.
• Strong planning, organizational, supervisory, and customer service skills.
• Patience, attention to detail, and ability to connect with diverse patients.
