We are looking for an engineer who has recently graduated or with minimal experience who is passionate by production assembly line yield, improvement & troubleshooting
• Develop validation plans and protocols for catheter balloon products.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Catheter manufacturing process.
• Monitor and ensure that production meets the specified quality standards, timeline and output targets.
• Continuously assess and improve production processes for efficiency, quality and cost effectiveness.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence of issues.
• Troubleshoot equipment, tooling and systems to ensure smooth operation.
• Collect and analyse production data, including output rates, defect rates, and material usage, to monitor and improve manufacturing performance.
• Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, quality metrics and process improvement to management.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to increase throughput and reduce waste, while maintaining high quality standard.
• Collaborate with cross functional team (R&D, Quality, Machine equipment, Maintenance) to implement process improvement and trouble shoot production bottlenecks.
• Utilise data analysis tools and lean manufacturing principles to optimise manufacturing performance.
• Collaborate with R&D team during product transfer phase to ensure manufacturability.
• Train and mentor production staff on manufacturing processes, quality standards, and safety procedures.
Educational Level
Degree in either Engineering (Mechanical/Automation/Industrial/Materials Science)
