We are looking for a skilled and reliable Handyman to join our team. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in plumbing, electrical works, air conditioning, painting, and general maintenance.
Perform routine inspections of the property to identify maintenance issues.
Carry out preventive maintenance tasks as per schedule.
Repair doors, locks, windows, furniture, fixtures, and fittings.
Ensure all public areas and guest rooms are maintained in excellent condition.
Assist in renovation and improvement projects when required.
Repair leaking taps, pipes, toilets, showers, and sinks.
Install and replace plumbing fixtures and fittings.
Clear blocked drains and ensure proper water flow.
Monitor water pumps, tanks, and pressure systems.
Detect and report major plumbing faults requiring external contractors.
Replace light fittings, bulbs, switches, sockets, and circuit breakers.
Troubleshoot minor electrical faults.
Maintain electrical panels and ensure safety compliance.
Ensure emergency lighting and backup systems are functional.
Follow all safety procedures when handling electrical systems.
Perform basic servicing and cleaning of air conditioning units.
Diagnose minor A/C faults and carry out necessary repairs.
Monitor cooling systems and report major technical issues.
Ensure proper functioning of ventilation systems.
Prepare surfaces and perform painting of walls, ceilings, doors, and furniture.
Conduct touch-ups to maintain high aesthetic standards.
Repair minor wall damages (cracks, holes, damp spots).
Maintain clean and professional finishing work at all times.
Follow company health and safety policies.
Use tools and equipment safely and responsibly.
Maintain a clean and organized maintenance workshop.
Report hazards immediately.
Ensure compliance with fire and safety regulations.
Respond quickly to maintenance requests from Front Office and Housekeeping.
Assist during emergencies (power failure, water issues, etc.).
Support other departments when technical assistance is required.
Be available for shift work, weekends, and public holidays .
Minimum Form IV / SC level or equivalent.
Proven hands-on experience (minimum 2–3 years) in:
Plumbing
Electrical maintenance
Air conditioning systems
Painting and finishing
General building maintenance
Technical certification in electrical, plumbing, or HVAC is an advantage.
Experience in hotel or property maintenance is highly preferred.
