Our client in the medical sector is seeking to recruit a Purchasing & Procurement Officer.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
  • Obtain quotations and negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders in accordance with company procedures.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments.
  • Track and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
  • Conduct supplier performance evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement processes.
  • Prepare procurement reports and analyze purchasing data.
Profile:


  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is an advantage.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
