The Villa Master takes care of the villa property acting as both a Housekeeper and Guest Relations Assistant for the guests. They ensure guests needs are met accompanying them on their experience prior and post stay working of a shift basis.

The Villa Master takes care of the villa property acting as both a Housekeeper and Guest Relations Assistant for the guests. They ensure guests needs are met accompanying them on their experience prior and post stay working of a shift basis.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities and duties for this position shall include but not limited to the following areas and activities. At management discretion, direction may be given for tasks outside the scope of work described.

  • Ensure that Villa is ready set up with guest preferences and amenities half an hour prior to guest arrival time.
  • Prepare (MEP) arrival beverage – champagne in ice bucket + fruit bowls as per hotel/villas standards.
  • Ensure that particular or special request are followed up.
  • Preparation of welcome registration card and letter.
  • Coordinate & Organise transfer from main pool to the villas with Concierge
  • Welcome guest upon arrival and check them directly into the villa as per standard welcoming procedure
  • Coordinate guest day to day activities with other departments and propose excursion trips making necessary arrangements
  • Coordinate with F&B outlet regarding breakfast, lunch, dinner and BBQ
  • Follow up with guest request
  • Note down all habits and hobbies of the guest for guest history card
  • Final check of ticket reconfirmation (To be carried out 72 hours prior to departure)
  • Coordinate & organise transfer from Villa to lower reception with Concierge.
  • Collect a copy of the bill from Front Office for the guest to double-check his consumption & finalise the payment.
  • Packing up of luggage upon guest request
  • Preparation of a gift upon departure
  • Accompanying the guest until lower reception
  • Hand over departure letter from Villa Manager
  • It is required to work on a shift basis, including odd hours and public holidays.

 

 

Qualifications

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

Qualification:

  • Middle or Secondary Education + Additional training or certificates in the relevant field is a plus.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in hotel industry on a similar position including training.
  • Proven experience working in a top luxury resorts is a plus.
  • Experience working in remote island locations is a plus.
  • Experience using industrial cleaning equipment and products is a plus.

Technical skills:

  • Good organizational skills.
  • Able to handle guest complaints and queries promptly and in a polite manner
  • Ability to provide top notch customer service.
  • Ability to effectively communicate.
  • Fluency in English or another language, written and verbal communication.
  • Knowledge of a second language is a plus.
  • Time management
  • Must have extensive knowledge of, and comply with, all housekeeping policies, procedures, and standards.
