The position supports the installation, maintenance, repair, and demonstration of technical products while ensuring timely, high‑quality service. The role may require after‑hours on‑call availability.
Maintenance Operational Management
- Ensures that planning and organisation are done in an efficient way by closely monitoring the work of Service Advisors, Spare Parts Advisors administrative staff and technical team.
- Ensures that the maintenance operations are as per standards and to manufacturers’ recommendations.
- Provide input for budget/capex estimates for the Maintenance Department.
- Ensures that job cards are opened/closed in a timely manner and regularly.
- Ensures submission of comprehensive quotations to clients and follow up as and when required.
- Monitors the client requests/complaints and ensures that latter are attended in a timely manner.
- Holds meeting as and when required and communicates on a regular basis about the status of the maintenance department.
- Ensures that sub-contractors comply as per contract agreement as and when required.
- Liaises with external suppliers and report any manufacturer’s defects on equipment.
- Implements action plan to minimise reworks.
Skills
- Good Interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in team and independently and be self-motivated.
- Good Leadership abilities
- Good written and spoken of both English and French
- Good Computer literacy (Microsoft word, excel and outlook)
- Holder of a valid driving license
Qualifications
- A Degree in Mechanical or Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering or in any related fields
- A minimum of 2 years in a Management position in a similar business environment
