Plant Room Supervisor

The Plant Room Supervisor is responsible for supervising the daily operation, monitoring, and maintenance of the hotel’s plant rooms and utility systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily plant room operations, including boilers, chillers, generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and water treatment plants.

• Monitor system performance, analyze readings, and ensure efficient use of energy and resources.

• Plan, assign, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance works.

• Ensure plant rooms comply with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

• Lead, train, and motivate Plant Room Technicians to maintain high performance standards.

• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and support emergency breakdown responses.

• Maintain accurate operational logs, maintenance records, and compliance documentation.

• Coordinate with the Engineering management team and external contractors when required.

• Support energy conservation initiatives and sustainability programs.

• Ensure cleanliness, order, and proper signage in all plant rooms.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma or technical qualification in mechanical, electrical, or plant engineering.

• Proven experience in plant room operations, preferably in a hotel, resort, or industrial environment.

• Previous supervisory or team-leading experience is essential.

• Strong knowledge of boilers, chillers, generators, HVAC, and water treatment systems.

• Good understanding of safety regulations and preventive maintenance systems.

• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
