Responsible for maintaining guest rooms and related areas in excellent condition by carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance works. The role ensures that rooms meet the hotel’s quality, safety, and operational standards, contributing to a seamless guest experience.
Carry out maintenance and repair works in guest rooms, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and general repairs.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and guest complaints related to room defects.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks as per the hotel’s maintenance schedule.
Inspect guest rooms regularly to identify and rectify potential issues.
Ensure all works comply with safety regulations and hotel standards.
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition.
Report major defects or safety hazards to the Engineering Supervisor or Chief Engineer.
Coordinate with Housekeeping and Front Office to minimize guest inconvenience.
Maintain maintenance records and job logs accurately.
Certificate or diploma in engineering, maintenance, or a related technical field.
Previous experience in hotel maintenance or a similar role is preferred.
Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and air-conditioning systems.
Ability to work independently and respond to urgent maintenance issues.
Good communication skills in English (additional languages are an advantage).
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
