The role of the Assistant Level 2 – Merchant Support is to provide back-office support and ensure all tasks assigned are carried out accurately and within set timelines.
Responsibility
- Handle merchant support requests promptly and provide timely feedback.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and system issues; escalate when required.
- Complete daily acquiring tasks efficiently and maintain accurate merchant records.
- Prepare and deploy terminals (installation, configuration, replacements).
- Visit merchants regularly and ensure agreed service levels are met.
- Maintain proper merchant files and support KYC remediation.
- Document support issues to build team knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with internal/external policies.
- Collaborate positively within the team and support continuity of operations.
Profile
- Minimum HSC; Diploma/Degree is an advantage
- At least 1 year relevant experience
- Valid driving licence
- Strong IT skills and good communication
- Knowledge of financial/banking operations
- Integrity and a customer‑centric mindset
