The Associate - Operations is responsible to execute all the day-to-day activities/ tasks of the different units within Operations Management.

 

The Associate - Operations is responsible to execute all the day-to-day activities/ tasks of the different units within Operations Management. This role acts as a maker and support seniors or other colleagues to ensure proper data capture, execution of tasks, filing and scanning of customers applications as per bank’s process, procedures & policies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The key responsibilities are not limited to the following:

  • Ensure account opening procedures are followed at all times and customer data is properly captured on account opening/product forms and systems.
  • Ensures to complete set of KYC documents are submitted & performs account maintenance, product registration, signature and document scanning, monitor renewal/ dormant/ abandoned and closed accounts.
  • Ensure processing of customer requests – Payments, Accounts, Change requests, Card, Internet banking, Credit, Leasing, Insurance, Trade Finance and other related products of the bank.
  • Diligently ensures Data integrity and consistency with respect to all Data on system.
  • Ensure to abide by procedures in place and meet the defined SLA for all activities performed within Operations.
  • To ensure all KYC and Money Laundering requirements are being followed.
  • Ensure a good cash management and maintain confidentiality.
  • To make regular checks and record/report findings.         
  • Provide assistance during audits and projects
  • Strive to exceed all performance targets
  • Promote open and honest communication
  • Scanning, Records keeping /filing, Mailing items.
  • Any other adhoc duties

PREREQUISITES:

  • Candidate should have at least a SC/HSC or diploma/degree in Banking  or Finance from a recognized institution or any relevant field acceptable by the bank.

  • Maintain confidentiality of information, be ethical and conducting business with good corporate governance.
  • Ability to work under pressure and follow instructions when required
  • Demonstrate adherence to the values of the bank and maintain a good attitude towards work.

  • Ability to discern risk issues and escalate as appropriate.
  • Ability to provide an appropriate level of attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced, process driven environment.
