The Panel Beater must strip, repair, replace, fit and adjust body panels after accident damage or modification. This includes repairing body panels, refitting components.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• To carry out repairs on the metallic bodies of vehicles
• To cut cutting plates
• To prepare and adjust plates for welding
• To punch rivet holes and use pneumatic tools for riveting
• To repair and replace structural damage
• To dismantle parts for EOR (estimates of repairs)
• To assist in repairing body misalignment
• To remove, replace, and realign bolt on vehicle body panel sections and ancillary fittings
• To remove and replace/fit protector moldings, transfers and decals
• To remove and replace adhesive bonded panels and structures

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Education: At least form 3
• Valid manual driving license
