The Public Area Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall presentation of all hotel public areas to the highest standards. This role ensures that guests experience a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the property at all times.
Clean and maintain all public areas, including lobbies, corridors, elevators, staircases, restrooms, lounges, offices, and staff areas
Clean entrances, glass doors, windows, mirrors, and handrails
Vacuum carpets, mop floors, polish surfaces, and remove litter
Clean and sanitize public restrooms regularly, ensuring supplies are replenished
Maintain cleanliness of back-of-house and service areas as assigned
Follow hotel cleaning, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times
Use cleaning equipment, chemicals, and machinery safely and correctly
Identify and report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards immediately
Comply with fire safety, emergency, and infection control procedures
Greet guests courteously and assist with basic requests or directions
Respond promptly to guest needs and report complaints to supervisors
Maintain guest privacy and professionalism at all times
Maintain housekeeping trolleys, equipment, and storage areas in a clean and organized condition
Complete cleaning schedules and task checklists as assigned
Assist with deep cleaning, special cleaning projects, and event setups
Support other housekeeping team members when required
