Junior Software Infrastructure Engineer (Internship)

Supports deploying/maintaining web apps & backends (Linux/cloud/CI/CD), monitors uptime/performance, helps with basic security (SSL, patching, access). Works with devs on scripts/automation & documentation. CS/IT student/grad, coding basics, eager to learn, English.

Your Role

As a Software Development & Infrastructure, you will support our development and IT operations teams in building, deploying, and securing modern software applications and infrastructure. This internship is ideal for students or graduates interested in software engineering, hosting environments, cybersecurity, and DevOps practices.

You will gain hands-on experience working in an international development environment and learn industry best practices in cloud hosting, security, and system administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Software & Infrastructure
• Assist in deploying and maintaining web applications and backend services
• Support hosting environments (Linux servers, cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines)
• Monitor application performance and uptime

Security & Reliability

• Assist in implementing basic security measures (SSL, access control, patching)
• Help identify vulnerabilities and participate in security audits
• Learn secure coding and infrastructure best practices

Development Support

• Collaborate with developers on software features and automation tools
• Write scripts or small tools to improve development workflows
• Document technical processes and system setups

Your Profile

Required

• Student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field
• Basic knowledge of programming (e.g., JavaScript, Python, PHP, Java, or similar)
• Familiarity with Linux, networking basics, or cloud concepts
• Strong motivation to learn hosting, DevOps, and security
• Good communication skills in English

Nice to Have

• Experience with Git, Docker, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of web hosting, domains, DNS, or cybersecurity fundamentals
• Personal projects, GitHub portfolio, or labs
