- Provides advice and information to clients and restaurant team members on the selection of wine by possessing a thorough knowledge of the menu and all wines on wine list and their prices.
- Handles customer complaints efficiently through appropriate interaction and action and/or referral to Management.
Logbook Updating
- Keeps record of guests’, visitors’ or repeaters’ dietary preferences or special requirements (e.g. allergies).
- Promotes wines and up-sells by using suggestive selling techniques.
Promotion & Direct Up-selling
Material Handling & Inventory
- Checks cleanliness and good functioning of furniture, fixtures and equipment in his/her section.
- Properly handles all materials and equipment to avoid breakage.
Stock Management
- Conducts stock inventories as per Finance Department every month.
- Conducts amenities supplies, wine orders and purchases as per requested.
