Accounts Officer

The role involves mainly managing and maintaining finance & accounting records. The Accounts Officer will be responsible for the AR accounting, banking proceedings, analyzing financial data, and ensuring company finance/accounting records are accurate and up to date.

TotalEnergies Mobility Services International Ltd (TEMSI) is a tech subsidiary of the TotalEnergies company based in Mauritius. We are approximately 100 employees thriving to innovate, develop and maintain the Company's software solutions. More specifically, we work closely with various Marketing &Services subsidiaries to develop Mobility oriented solutions.

The role involves mainly managing and maintaining finance & accounting records. The Accounts Officer will be responsible for the AR accounting, banking proceedings, analyzing financial data, and ensuring company finance/accounting records are accurate and up to date.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of invoices, statements of account, and follow-up correspondence for all receivable accounts.
• Respond promptly and professionally to client, management, and internal inquiries on receivable accounts.
• Posting of daily financials/ bank transactions/ forex monitoring on ERP
• Reconciliation of debtors account, preparation of debtors aging reporting and continuous follow-up.
• Maintain records and follow-up of stock management together with Procurement & Supply executive (Also acts like a backup).
• Responsible for maintaining and controlling Fixed Assets Register module.
• Maintains files, including filing of general ledger journal, accounts receivables documentation, and other miscellaneous filings.
• Any other finance, accounting and administrative tasks assigned by finance director.

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field (E.g ACCA - Minimum Level 2 or CFA)
• 5-7 years of experiences in accounting operations
• Proficiency in using financial software (Sage Evolution or other ERP)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience in Supply Chain Management for Local & Foreign will be an advantage
• Good attitudes, keen to learn, sense of contact and team spirit.
