Merchant West Mauritius is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Finance Administrator to join our finance team.
This role is ideal for a candidate eager to grow their accounting career while contributing to the smooth running of our financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
· Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
· Debtors & Creditors Management: Process invoices, reconcile accounts, and ensure timely collections and payments.
· Systems Updates: Regularly update accounting and operational systems to reflect current transactions.
· VAT Returns: Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with statutory requirements.
· Audit Liaison: Assist with audit preparations, provide necessary documentation, and liaise with auditors.
· Financial Support: Provide general support to the finance team in day-to-day operations.
Qualifications & Skills
· Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
· 3-5 years of experience.
· Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
· Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (Excel essential).
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
