The Sales Developer is responsible for generating new business opportunities, identifying potential customers, and supporting the sales cycle from prospecting to conversion. This role focuses on market development, lead generation, customer engagement, and driving revenue growth.

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Identify potential clients through cold calls, emails, networking, and market research.
  • Maintain and expand a database of leads and contacts.
  • Qualify leads and determine customer needs before passing them to the sales team.

2. Sales Development

  • Present products or services to prospective customers.
  • Follow up on inbound inquiries and nurture leads through the pipeline.
  • Support senior sales executives by preparing proposals, demos, and presentations.

3. Customer Relationship Building

  • Build strong, long-term relationships with clients.
  • Understand customer pain points and recommend suitable solutions.
  • Provide excellent customer service to increase satisfaction and loyalty.

4. Market Research & Reporting

  • Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer behavior.
  • Provide feedback to the sales and marketing teams for improvement.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports on lead status, opportunities, and conversions.

5. Sales Administration

  • Maintain accurate CRM records of customer interactions.
  • Assist in preparing sales documents, quotations, and contracts.
  • Coordinate with marketing, operations, and finance teams to support sales activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • At least 5 Years of experience in sales, telesales, or business development (preferred).
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), email communication, and basic digital tools.
