We’re looking for Payroll Officers to join our growing team supporting UK-based clients. The role is based in Mauritius and requires working UK hours whilst offering exposure to international payroll operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Process end-to-end UK payroll accurately and on schedule
Handle statutory calculations including PAYE, NI, pensions and other deductions
Maintain and update payroll records with a high level of accuracy
Manage queries from clients and employees professionally and promptly
Prepare payroll reports, summaries and reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with UK payroll legislation and internal policies.
Requirements:
Previous experience in payroll processing is an advantage but school leavers with strong numerical and administrative skills are welcome to apply
Good understanding or willingness to learn UK payroll processes and statutory requirements
Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable learning payroll systems
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work to deadlines and manage confidential information responsibly
Flexible to work UK hours from Mauritius
