We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Take full responsibility for the assigned kitchen section
Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to the hotel’s standards and recipes
Ensure mise-en-place is prepared and ready before service
Supervise and guide Commis Chefs and Demi Chefs in your section
Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation are consistently maintained
Monitor portion control and minimize wastage
Ensure hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards (HACCP) are strictly followed
Ensure proper storage and correct labelling of food items
Assist in stock control and report shortages or wastage to Sous Chef
Maintain equipment and report any malfunction
Participate in menu development and special events when required
Ensure smooth operation of the section during service
Qualifications
Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts or equivalent
Minimum 2–3 years experience in a similar position in a hotel or restaurant
Good knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety standards
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational and teamwork skills
Good communication skills
Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
