As a key member of the commercial leadership team, the Commercial Manager will play a pivotal role in driving sales performance, strengthening strategic partnerships, and ensuring operational excellence across commercial functions.

What You’ll Do:
Â
Commercial Strategy & Business Planning
- Work closely with the Senior Commercial Manager to develop and implement sales and commercial strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Monitor market trends, industry developments, and policy changes to identify risks and opportunities.
- Analyse sales data and performance metrics to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to feasibility studies and the exploration of new products, channels, or industries.
- Prepare and present structured business plans, including objectives, financial projections, and risk assessments.

Sales & Operational Management
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Sales, HORECA, and Cigarette departments.
- Translate business plans into clear operational and sales targets for teams.
- Establish and reinforce operational procedures to enhance efficiency, performance, and cost control.
- Lead or support high-level commercial negotiations where required.
- Identify and implement technological and process improvements to optimise operations.

Client & Partnership Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retail partners, and key stakeholders.
- Represent ABC Foods at industry events, client forums, and networking platforms.
- Evaluate partner performance and negotiate improvements in service levels and contractual terms.
- Collaborate with group-level and cross-functional teams to ensure operational alignment.
- Coordinate with relevant authorities and regulatory bodies.

Financial Monitoring & Reporting
- Monitor revenue, margins, costs, and profitability against targets.
- Ensure transparency in commissions, cost allocation, and financial reporting.
- Prepare accurate reports to support management decision-making.
- Identify underperforming accounts and recommend corrective actions to drive sustainable growth.

Leadership & People Management
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales and commercial team.
- Foster a culture of performance, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Support talent development and succession planning in collaboration with HR.
- Encourage strong cross-functional collaboration across sales, procurement, marketing, logistics, and distribution.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, ideally within FMCG or distribution.
- Experience managing teams and commercial operations in a fast-paced environment.
