Forklift Driver

The ideal candidate must hold a valid Forklift Driving Licence/Certificate, have a minimum of 1–3 years’ experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.

• Operate forklifts safely to load, unload, transport, and stack goods in designated areas – warehouse, containers or trucks.
• Inspect forklifts daily before use and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
• Operate forklifts with precision, optimizing loads and ensuring secure transport/ movement of goods to prevent damage.
• Assist in receiving, storing, and issuing materials as per instructions.
• Stack and arrange goods according to warehouse layout and safety guidelines.
• Accurately count, verify, record all incoming and outgoing items, update inventory records while organizing stocks.
• Support stock control activities, including stock counts and verification when required.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, health, and operational procedures at all times.
• Maintain / Assist in cleanliness and organisation of warehouse and loading areas.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and coordinate with storekeepers and logistics staff.
• Report damaged goods, shortages, or discrepancies immediately to the Line Manager.
• Assist with manual handling task such as hand pallet trucks to shift goods when forklift operation is not required.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
• Perform any other cognate duties as assigned by the reporting or line Manager.
